Julius Caesar took almost all of the major positions Tribune, Consul, high commander of the army and a great priest. He also suggested laws for the Senate to approve them. The people loved his ideas and thought that they would fix Rome.He was a patrician and gave grain to the plebeians. The Romans loved him so much that they named the month of July after him.
¡ What did he accomplish as a General?
He was a great General and one of the most important rulers in Rome.Julius became so powerful that the senate began to worry; they thought he would become King and blow of the dictatorship.He reorganized the army and improved the way the provinces were governed.Taxes were outrageous and many people starved.Julius was so powerful that he gave the plebeians grain and shelter.The twelve tables stated that a General couldn’t enter a city with his army but Julius broke that law all the time.He would throw huge parties to celebrate all his victories.He conquered tons of land and Rome became so big that they had to split it in two.

Julius Caesar gave land to his soldiers he also gave grain to the poor citizens. Some of the senators didn’t like Julius Caesar. Some of the senators were planning to kill him on March 15 the senators killed him.

Julius Caesar dies because of a stabbing by the senators. The senators murdered him because they didn’t want him to have all the power and they were getting sick of him being a dictator. The senators were very happy after they stabbed him. The people of Rome were very mad and they started to burn the senator’s houses. They were mad because he was the best leader they ever had, because he gave them food and shelter to them. The senator’s didn’t like him doing that. After Caesar died a huge civil war stared.
Cleopatra: Cleopatra was 21 years old when she joined forces with Caesar. She was the ruler of the Egyptian government. She was like the queen. Caesar helped Cleopatra defeat her brother. He was the king of the Egyptian government. Cleopatra then gave him money that he needed to continue fighting for control of Rome. Cleopatra was supposedly a young and very pretty woman. She was the queen of Egypt. She was very rich and powerful.
